Who we are

This website belongs to E.ME.KO NV (Emeko), VAT BE 0405 480 784. Customer contact for Emeko runs through Argentor Essayeurs in Antwerp.

For any question about your personal data, write to info@argentorshop.be.

Contact form

When you use the contact form, we receive your name, e-mail address, subject and message. We use them only to answer your question. The legal basis is your request and our legitimate interest in answering it.

  • The form sends your message by e-mail to Argentor Essayeurs (info@argentorshop.be). The website itself does not store messages.
  • We keep your message for 1 year. If it leads to an order or an agreement, we keep what is needed for it as long as the law requires.
  • To keep out spam, the contact page uses Google reCAPTCHA. Google receives your IP address and technical data about your browser, and sets the cookie _GRECAPTCHA (6 months). The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in protecting the form against spam.

Cookies and outside services

Always active, needed for the website

  • cookieyes-consent (emeko.be): remembers your cookie choice. 1 year.
  • pll_language (emeko.be): remembers your language. 1 year.

Only if you accept “Analytics” in the cookie banner

  • Google Analytics counts visits and shows which pages are visited, and whether the contact form is sent or someone clicks the phone number or e-mail address. Cookies _ga and _ga_E2JFMY44M7 (2 years). Google keeps the detailed visit data for 14 months. We do not use it for advertising. The legal basis is your consent.

Outside services that load with the page

  • Vimeo shows the video on the home page. We load it in Vimeo’s “do not track” mode. Vimeo receives your IP address, and its security service sets the cookies __cf_bm (30 minutes), __cf_ob (until you close the browser) and cf_clearance (1 year).
  • Adobe Fonts delivers the fonts of this website. Adobe receives your IP address to send the font files. Adobe states that it does not store it and sets no cookies.

The legal basis for these two services is our legitimate interest in showing the video and the website’s fonts.

You can change or withdraw your cookie choice at any time with the round cookie button at the bottom left of every page. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell your data.

Hosting and e-mail

Our hosting provider runs this website and the server that sends the form e-mails. Like every web server, it records technical data (IP address, browser, pages requested, time) in log files, to keep the website secure. These logs are kept only for a limited time. Your message arrives in the Argentor Essayeurs mailbox at Microsoft 365. Our providers process this data only on our instructions.

Data outside the European Union

Google, Vimeo, Adobe and Microsoft are American companies, so the data they receive can go to the United States. They are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognises as giving adequate protection.

Your rights

You have the right to see your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to limit or object to its use, and to receive it in a usable format. Where you gave consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority: www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
